Kate has over 20 years of experience in legal operations management across law firms and in-house corporate legal departments, including 10+ years in business development and brand strategy within the legal services industry. She began her career in legal operations while attending UCLA, working with boutique and Big Law firms before moving in-house, where she supported the General Counsel and led domestic business development during a top-tier brand’s growth phase. 

A decade ago, Kate transitioned into legal recruiting with a $5 billion public company, leveraging her deep industry knowledge to navigate the complexities of client needs—from in-house legal department expansion and AmLaw 200 staffing to specialized boutique firms. She takes a strategic, big-picture view of the legal industry while also understanding the granular details that drive its success.

Committed to the legal community, Kate is actively involved in ALA, ACC, and multiple legal associations. She frequently speaks on the legal job market, career positioning, and resume development, and she offers coaching for attorneys on business development and client growth strategies.
